Beggar's Hole

A prison colony established by the Stratos Stormhold, Beggar’s Hole is little more than a rock in the sky where the Stormhold does away with its waste. In recent times since the peace, other countries have dropped individuals there as well. Wardened loosely from a neighboring island, the second largest island in the Thormegaer Island chain is a lawless turf where prisoners form their own brutal form government and guards simply patrol on griffon back and turn a blind eye to any of the scum beneath them. Those that escape Beggar’s Hole are few and far between, as most sentences are lifelong. Some do, however, but they have nothing happy to say of the time they spent there.
