Cairnover Oasis

A reclusive redout of giantkind, Cairnover Oasis is a city built around and over a large springcrystal and its subsequent oasis in the middle of the Ruby Desert. Given the general disdain for giants and the fact that many cultures openly shun giants and half-giants, Cairnover Oasis is the largest existent population of their kind known in Sonis. Giants of Cairnover Oasis typically spend their days in study, exploring the mysteries of the past, and recording and organizing their histories. Young giants are closely schooled and parenting is a community effort. Furthermore, scholars from Cairnover Oasis maintain an information network such that they can find and harbor young abandoned half-giants, though this breaks down outside of Ozul proper. By no means a poor place, the schools and libraries of Cairnover Oasis are spirals of sandstone and ivory... though few visit the city to behold the sight.
