Ebonhagen

Originally an offshoot from Desertcrown, Ebonhagen is now its own freehold. Situated inland from the coast in a drop-away valley, Ebonhagen is famous for its large, domed ceiling over the settlement that defends against intruders and elements. Ruled by land-owning nobles that can trace their blood back to Desertcrown, Ebonhagen lords are prolific traders and fiercely compete with Desertcrown in the field. This, coupled with the quickly moving ship designs of the society mean that sometimes, Ebonhagen wins in this competition, much to the chagrin of Desertcrown traders. Ebonhagen has something of a reputation amongst vendors, though, as the ship captains of the freehold have a history of taking a percent off the top of goods and earnings.
