Mog's Place

A small island in the southernmost curve of Arbea, Mog’s Place was discovered only as the world began to open up and the skies began to be charted. An isolated community with no naturally deposits of floatstone, what explorers found when they stumbled upon Mog’s Place was an eclectic bunch of people who had long ago been brought together by a ratfolk they revered called Mog. As the story goes, Mog pulled the community out of the chaos of the Shattering and brought them together around the Cornucopia, what amounted to quite simply to a pile of every necessary material for the community's existence (food, building materials, etc.) amassed and then they deliberated over how to proceed as an equal group. Today, Mog's Place still follows this formula, with a direct vote being taken to determine any major community action. For the world at large, Mog's is a backwater of no consequence with few resources, flying the world in patchwork ships.
