Southport

Originally established by the Stratos Stormhold as a naval base, Southport is now a colony in its own right, home to people seeking new opportunities in a new world with little care for the indigenous inhabitants they displace in the process. With close ties to its parent nation, Southport keeps largely to its roots as a Stratos territory, serving still as a major naval port, way station, and trading outpost for raw goods leaving Cascade to the rest of the world. Meanwhile, newly arriving settlers have begun to intermingle with the Cascadian way of life. While there has been some balancing between local native groups around Southport and Stormhold settlers, there is only the beginnings of an intermixed culture, and most natives have found themselves at the bottom of the social hierarchy.
