Session 20: Battle at the Temple of Liera
General Summary
- Party ran to the Temple of Liera
- Met Karen and Betsy, two bystanders with a love of gossip who shared that they saw Cerrick being taken into the Temple by some temple guards with black swords
- The party enters the temple and sees four guards; with some conversation, they say nothing is going on or unusual but Zazall sees through the lies
- Drast distracts two guards by causing a scene, allowing the party to investigate a few of the 6 doors in the main sanctuary.
- Mumph, Lilian, and Bork investigate the middle door on the left side and find a staircase to the 2nd story where an office, study, dining hall, pantry, storage and kitchen reside, as well as stairs to the third level
- Zazall opens the middle door on the right side and finds a hallway and two doors, one with people behind it and the other a private sanctuary to Liera.
- Lilian confirms that High Priestess Cellie Dawnstar was not in her office or within 120 feet.
- Drast indirectly kills one guard and knocks out two others.
- 4 more guards enter from the 3rd floor
- An unknown amount of people come out of the other door near Zazall.
- Mumph and Bork surrender
- 3 Sandguards enter through the main doors and call for a ceasefire
