Ghost
More machine than man, and more still a legend, this figure doesn't do much nowadays except listen. He wears some kind of mask or helmet; almost the entire front of his body is mechanical. It would be easier to list what is organic rather than what isn't: most of his head (none of the face), his back, and partially both legs (one is mostly whole). His voice and arms are entirely robotic.
Where does he come from? What kind of disaster did he survive? He won't tell anyone, in fact he can't tell anyone. He doesn't remember. He once hitchhiked to Farfoot, and there he was given the name “Ghost.” He hung around in the quietest corner of the bar until Ewa Farfoot took pity on him. She hired Ghost as a cook and lets him stay as long as he needs to. She taught him how to make everything on her menu (mostly appetizer-type stuff), and without ever talking to the customers, Ghost has become something of a legend.
Nobody knows the source of his injuries, and so some imaginative drunks decided to theorise one night. Despite the many theories about what happened, the “fallen hero” seems the most common tale: Some believe he's a retired soldier, others claim he once defied a Regulator and was brutally punished, others still say he lead a successful overthrow of a dictator. The bar-goers often point to him as a cautionary tale to stay out of heroism. If you actually went up and talked to Ghost, he would tell you the exact opposite.
