The Coalition Military and Law Enforcement are the acting security and defense forces of the
Galactic Coalition.
The Security Forces can be divided into two main categories: Military Forces and Domestic Security Forces which are in charge of national and domestic security respectively.
Coalition Military Forces
The Coalition Military Forces, also called CMF, are the military of the Galactic Coalition and are in charge of defending the coalition territories and planets from outside forces. There are a few different branches: Land Army, Space Force, etc; who are each responsible for a different kind of warfare and defense.
The Land Army is the infantry meaning that they are the land forces that are ground defence and military. The Space Force is made up of
Spacecraft pilots and engineers who are in charge of defense from space and fighting in space.
They are also in charge of being security for Coalition government officials, like members of the House of Representatives, and buildings when they are traveling or have a security threat. They may also be called upon if there are riots or high tensions and the Coalition Government deems their presence necessary.
They have a very structured hierarchy structure with their chain of command going all the way up to the Chancellor, although most of the running of the Military oversight and conducting of affairs for each military branch is taken care of by Military Secretaries, who are selected by the Chancellor with the House of Representatives Approval.
Domestic Security Forces
The Domestic Security Forces, also called DSF, are in charge of investigating and enforcing the laws of the Galactic Coalition. The Domestic Security Forces, are split into branches the investigation, security, and public safety,
The investigation branch is in charge of investigating crimes and collecting evidence. The Security branch is in charge of protecting important people and buildings. The public safety branch is in charge of arresting criminals and riot control and is often called upon by other planets in cases where things have gotten out of hand.
They act as a police and investigative force in cases where jurisdiction cannot be easily placed on one member planet’s law enforcement, for example, if there is a criminal who was active on numerous different member planets. They may also be requested by a Planetary Government if a case is seen as outside of their law enforcement abilities or if they require extra help.
