Past Events

Skirka: Skirka has always been a disappointment to his father. While his siblings have all gone on to do “important” things like politics or serve in the military he never sought to improve himself and only wanted to pass himself off as a gangster. When His grandfather started to sink into dementia Skirka ingrained himself by being kind to the old man. Ever since Reynes started cracking down on Skirka’s foes, he has been unleashed. Skirka also bears scaly scars from a disease he got in his child hood. He is very sensitive about them.
Ir’ell: Always having an interest in the arcane but never the talent for it. When he was a young man he romanced a sister of the Ob-Strix and used her sight for his own gain. He stole the Deck of Fates from her. When she tried to retaliate he had his guards kill her and convinced his father to pass legislation that made the Ob-Strix fugitives on the world. After his children were born he came into the possession of The Blade of Broken Mirrors. He tested it out on his wife.
Vix: Spending her youth being treated like a princess by the citizens of Re-af and ignored by her father. She was the most deeply affected by her mother’s disappearance of the 7 children. When she was a teenager her sorcerous power kicked in, attracting her father’s notice. After he realized he couldn’t control her magic he sent her to a boarding school off world. Eventually she joined the Sisterhood and her alt style. While helping Hilda digitize some texts she came across a description of The Deck of Fates.
Megan Clark: An aspiring musician who wanted to escape the dusty fields of Re-af 2. After playing in a bar she was approached by Eomas to “record a demo.” During the session she made a crack at Skirka’s expense. He tortured her in the booth and left her with 500gp. One night while she was waiting for her trip off the rock, she was abducted by Skirka’s goons and taken to the Menagerie to be experimented on.
