Abomination
The abominations is a strange, toxic being that comes from beyond the spheres, slipping in through rare cracks in reality. Their body is filled with a potent sludge that is as poisonous as it is acidic. As they eat anything organic they can get their hands on, including sapient beings, they are highly feared, though some do learn to be more discerning with their meals.
If engaged in combat, abominations rely upon their unnatural physique to survie the enemy's attack, returning fire with their toxic bile to reduce their assailant into easily drinkable liquid.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The abominations is a bloated being, its body consisting of billowing folds, its hairless, wrinkly skin waxing between a sickly pink and a light green more befitting a corpse than any living thing. It has two front limbs, which it uses to drag its body, assisting by the undulations of its flesh. The features of its head are minial, sporting only the bare minimum of eyes, mouth and ears.
Abominations do not have internal organs per se. Nor does it have a skeleton beyond its teeth or muscles beyond a few strands of tissue. Instead, their bodies are filled with a highly poisonous liquid that serves for them all the functions a complex array of organs, bones and muscles would for other creatures. Due to this lack of internal structure, abominations can fold themself into suprisingly small spaces. This liquid is additionally secreted from their claws and teeth, serving as a potent offence that dissolves the flesh of whatever they strike.
Genetics and Reproduction
When abominations choose to reproduce, they will engage in a prolonged kiss with their partner where they swap copious amounts of the fluid that fills their bodies. After a few cycles, they will then cough up a wad of flesh, which will soon grow into a young abomination.
Growth Rate & Stages
Abominations grow quickly, consuming anything organic they can get their hands on to facilitate the process. Within three to five cycles, an abominations can be fully grown.
