Air Elemental

Born of a union of fresh air and primal energies, the air elemental is a flighty being. By nature, they are curious and prone to wandering, exploring every nook and cranny of the world, picking up and dropping interest as their flickering attention demands. That is not to say that they cannot focus, but a relaxed air elemental lets their mind flick between interests as it pleases. They are very open to learning and nejoy experimenting on their own with various hobbies and trades.
Being comprised primarily of air, they air hard to hurt in any meaningful way in combat. Any physical dangers tend to go right through them, if one even has any luck spotting them in the first place. Air elementals make good use of their environment in battle, primarily buffeting opponents and smacking them around with blast of wind and sudden gusts. In stormy weather, air elementals can come off as near immortal, as a windy environment causes them to reconstitute at an accelerated pace.

Anatomy

Air elementals are composed entirely of air and as such can be hurt by neither poison nor disease. Their bodies are highly amorphous as a result, not to mention barely visible outside of the small bits of debris that get picked up by their twirling forms. Air elementals can shape their bodies in any way they want and can squeeze themselves through any opening air can slip through. Their bodies slip around most objects, making it hard for them to get hurt. Large chunks of earth has proven to be disruptive and hazardous to their bodies however. In windy areas, their bodies reconstitute themselves in the blink of an eye, whereas areas of stale air is nothing short of toxic to them.

Air elementals are spontaneously born when primal energy infuses a large quantity of air, usually in windy areas.

Air elementals prefer open areas where the wind blows freely. They protect the sanctity of air, clearing out fumes, smoke and other hazardous airborne nuisances.

Air elementals are sustained by the air itself. Airless environments quickly starve them of existence.
