Junkerbuss

Ammunition can be in short supply in the wilds. In desperate times, blunderbusses were loaded with scraps, sand or whatever else could be shoved into it. Human gunsmiths developed on the idea to create the junkerbuss, specifically for explorers and adventurers. The junkerbuss was specifically designed to minimize the wear and tear the gun would suffer from using improvised ammunition. This weapon is not without flaws, however, and ammunition getting stuck and causing considerable damage to the wielder still happens.
The jankerbuss is a smaller version, designed to be wielded in one hand.

Once the trigger is pulled, gunpowder is ignited causing a detonation that launches stored projectiles.
