Woodland Dryad
Woodland dryads are the most common of the dryads, nymphs who are born from thriving forests. They tend to be curious and often claim large territories they can explore. They therefore also tend to be more welcoming towards strangers, though one should not take such hospitality for granted, lest one wants poisoned cuts all over. Woodland dryads usually get along with others with a connection to the primal, like druids, elves and dragons.
Their ability to walk unhindered through the forest allows them to swiftly patrol vast patches of land, even more so if they have allies- They can merge with trees to give themselves even better odds of remaining undetected and rarely is a dryad seen before they wish to be. If they deem anything a threat, they use said stealth to launch surprise attacks and ambushes. If that alone is not enough, they are not afraid to tear offenders to shred with their sharp claws.
