Which project are your worldbuilding efforts tied to?
Spirit of the Age/[Name pending] (I have never really been happy with any single name I've given this setting) has been a general creative outlet for me. I can't draw and my attempts at music could be used to frighten small children, but I can at least somewhat write. Most of what I've used this world for has been tabletop RPGs, but in practice I've worldbuilt a lot of things that have no utility to gaming. I've also written a few flash fiction/short stories (which are also on my world page), and have a pipe dream of possibly getting something published at some point, either as setting material or prose-form stories.
What world are you working on?
The only world I have on worldanvil, Spirit of the Age.
Which area of the world(s) are you working on?
I will probably focus most of my worldbuilding on the United Runberi Emirates. They keep creeping into my other worldbuilding because of their influence on other societies, and I have a fairly clear view of what they are generally about even if much of it has not been committed to articles yet.
How much are you aiming to complete?
Last summer camp, I was able to complete all 33 prompts. The badge goblin demands that I go for diamond this time around as well, even though I have a lot less time on my hands now than I did a year ago. I figure I can catch up on weekends.
When will you write?
My daily life is pretty unstructured, and me pinning myself down on specific days and times here won't really change that, so that's not what I'm going to do. That said, I'll probably try to do longer writing sessions on weekends, as I won't necessarily have the mental energy to think of prompt responses on weekdays. I probably will still write prompts during the week if one of them particularly inspires me though. 300 words is not a lot if you have a clear view of what to write.
Who is your support network?
Mostly the discord. To some extent the various D&D groups I'm part of, but most of them aren't worldbuilders in the same way.
Looking forward to seeing more about the United Runberi Emirates! :D I'll be cheering you on!
