Al-Miniath Tower
Built in the sixteenth Century (c. 1500), Al-Miniath was one of several great etherical towers built after the days of the Radiance and the receding dominance of Elvaen culture throughout the world. Legend says that these towers were built by the Ilmatar themselves, just prior to their disappearance from the world at the beginning of the Iron Age. They were built as watchposts and dwelling places of Fae high etherics, from which they were able to oversee former Elvaen strongholds.
Al-Miniath was a great white spire at the western edge of Fal-Prasinas (the Greenwood), and was a center of power for the Lunari fae who maintained vigilance over sylvan lands in central Wessa. Even in the period where the Lunari occupied the eastern Greenwood from the Elvaenhearth stronghold, Al-Miniath was a bastion of strength on the western side of the forest.
In the 28th Century, the Mistress of Al-Miniath gave permission for Ilmarite refugees fleeing from Karsha and the Great Kingdom to settle in the land beyond the Caal River in Lansia, where the City of Onscra was founded. The banner of the town of Ginon (nearest Al-Miniath), bears the sigil of a tower with a house on each side.
