GR 27: The Golden City
A delegation of Mirriling emissaries was sent to the southern continent on a diplomatic mission, seeking protected trade status for Mirriling merchants within the lands and seas of the southern Ismani Caliphate. The goal was to establish a commerce treaty with the Grand Caliph in the city of Azuza and document the necessary papers. The ship Liaki made landfall at the port town of Nadea. Taking a full load of trade gear across country as a caravan led by a merchant and horseman, Merak al-Keran, the party encountered many obstacles along the way.

Time Frame: Unknown, Ismani Caliphate, Southern Continent ADVENTURE: Characters sought to discover the secrets of a temple long-buried under the desert sands — the last retreat of an ancient Vizier whose political betrayal gained him treasure beyond imagination and the everlasting curse of fate. Under the spell of the jinn, the temple was said to appear only for a single moonless night. COMMENTS: The most deadly obstacle encoutered in this dungeon was a spinning gear-driven blade device which inflicted serious damage on many party members. Only one character passed unscathed using an ethereal “2-D” formula.
