Mandoreth

Description: Mandoreth is a northern Lansian city built on two small islands near the southeast shore of Lake Doreth. Over the years, both island have been artificially expanded to maximum capacity. Lower-classes reside in the southern island (pictured above) and the higher classes reside on the northern island (pictured below). There are many boats and larger craft moored around the city and in its various canals.
A large, paved stone bridge crosses the water from the mainland, with enough for two carts to comfortably pass side by side. A large newly constructed arch spans the entry to the city. It was built honoring the Fae/Naodrun treaty of 2832 SR, which separated northern lands in a peaceful settlement. The arch had been destroyed in Frost War in the Battle of Mandoreth in 3228, and is now to be rededicated on the 400th year anniversary of its original construction.
A large cathedral of Ukko is at the center of town. Destroyed during the Frost War, it was later refurbished and renovated. Many people are normall gathered around in outer court, including merchants and worshippers. The Mandoreth Cathedral was where the Order of the Winged Swords originated.
