Sauria

Sauria is the name for the eastern side of the southern continent. This immense continent stretches across much of the east southern hemisphere of Aerith. Unique to the vast southern continent, reptilian creatures are far more numerous than mammals. Certain species of dinosaur-like animals have been domesticated to serve as beasts of burden.
The sub-region of Eschara is the land to the east of Isman, a land of rocky desert and mountains. Sharing similarities with neighboring lands, Eschara is a somewhat harsher environment. The outbacks are home to many strange creatures and unique plant-life. Originally colonized by Rakkians from the north, the region gives its name to the Escharan Uruks.

Fauna & Flora

Saguaro Cactus: This tall common cactus can grow to tree-height, and is easily identifiable by its thick upturned arms. The saguaro is known for its ability to store water, even in the driest desert. Travelers often use the fleshy pulp for sustenance. It blooms with bright flowers.
