Arcadian Traits

Your arcadian human character has the following traits.   Ability Score Increase. Your Constitution and Intelligence scores both increase by 1, and one other ability score of your choice increases by 1.   Age. As other humans, arcadians reach adulthood in their late teens and live less than a century..   Alignment. The cutthroat culture of the Empire favors chaotic alignment, as personal strength and the cunning are core parts of their beliefs. Most tend towards neutral alignment, while those that live a life of crime and manipulation revel in evil.   Size. Arcadians tend to be short and brawny, with wider build than most humans. Most stand between 5 and 6 foot tall. Your size is Medium.   Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet.   Crafty. You are trained in one set of Artisan’s tools of your choice.   Smog Born. You can bypass the Consistution saving throws needed while traversing the lower parts of New Cordelia and other factory towns.   Banter and Blackmail. You know the ins and outs of dealing with the citizens of Arcadia. While interacting with a fellow Arcadian you can make a Intimidation or Persuasion check with advantage, you can do so once per long rest.   Innate Spellcasting. You learn mending. You can cast detect poison and disease a number of times equal to your Constitution modifer. You regain all casts when you finish a short or long rest.   Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common and Arcadian.

Quirks
1 You are deaf in one ear or very jumpy from a life of loud explosions.
2 Your hair is charred, and your eyebrows never seem to grow back.
3 You carry yourself with an air of nobility, whether it’s fabricated or not, your confidence is unmatched.
4 Something about you seems to send clockwork speeding.
5 Your voice is gruff from breathing in the toxic air of New Cordelia.
6 You can analyse the makings of simple clockwork machinery, without having to take them apart.
7 You have a superstitious belief in luck, always flipping a coin or shuffling a deck of cards.
8 You cannot get the smell of motor oil or gun powerder out of your nose.
9 Due to an accident with a machine, you are missing finger or a toe.
10 Constructs always seem to be watching you.
