Mayor Naomi Sand is the current leader of Rhodes, and has been since the Splintering began. She is considered responsible for the town's enormous growth.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Before Mayor Sand, Rhodes was simply a stop on the way to Stonerang from any of the lands north of the Iron Hill.  The most claim to fame the city could grasp was the uneasy peace it had made with the nearby Orcish tribes.  After the Splintering, Sand put tremendous energy into securing Reaches and getting the town to become part of a 3-city hub of Reach travel, making it not just a way-point for travel to Stonerang... But to anywhere.

Intellectual Characteristics

Naomi has an almost cagey need to be validated.  She managed to secure her Mayor seat at a very young age, and was desperate to prove that she was worthy of the title.  Even more than this, her ambition demanded her town be something more than just a waystation for people traveling overland to Stonerang.  The Splintering gave her this chance.
