Electric Bane
Electric Bane is a complicated standalone spell used as a protection mechanism against incoming projectile attack spells. It can only be invoked through the weapon properties of a magic staff weapon (of any version). With Electric Bane in use, the user generates a powerful and initially invisible ion field all around them with a range of 3 meters, lasting for 4-7 seconds. This ion field will automatically attack and destroy any and all magic projectiles that match or falls under the relative power level of this invocation using electric plasma arcs, running on a timer rather than a protection-based duration. When in use, any and all projectiles, especially elemental projectiles coming at the wielder that enter this ion field will be electrocuted with rotating and spinning electrical arcs that come alive and visible only when these projectile are capable of being shot away. The arcs are powerful enough to destroy the magic projectiles so long as their individual power levels do not far exceed that of this spell's defensive power level invocation, a defensive effect lasting for several seconds. This of course means that it will not work on non-projectile spells or area attacks that do not use projectiles. Any human or summon entering this ion sphere will take a small amount of electrical damage while being forcibly shoved back out of range, protecting the same wielder from physical proximity as well. With such a short window of time however, this deflection spell is best used with tremendous amounts of practice in the proper timing of defensive deflections, and should be handled with care as it uses lots of MP energy to accomplish this task.
Spell mastery notes: Wielders who have extensive experience with Shining Bracer but minimal experience with Lightning Strike will struggle to be able to learn or use this spell, unless a thunderstorm or Storm Build is in effect. Additionally, if Storm Build is in effect when the wielder invokes Electric Bane, the defensive power of Electric Bane will be doubled, while invocation time will be twice as fast.

This defensive ability cannot be used under any circumstance without a magic staff. Any version of a magic staff will do, but without a staff, this spell will be unavailable. Staffs cannot be generated with generation glyphrings.
