Almost impossible to learn, this unofficial spell that was evolved from the Deep Freeze ability can lower the temperature in an isolated pocket of space so strongly, the feeling of the person effected simulates the cold as if felt from the vacuum of outer space, where no heat exists at all. The power of this ability is so strong, that it greatly exceeds the protection level of the veil and inflicts partial real time damage as well as potential illnesses from the unhealthy reduction in body temperature. When cast, the wielder can determine whether the temperature change affects the entire 500 Meter field as seen in Deep Freeze, or whether this effect is isolated to a 50 meter pocket. The targeted variation of this ability is so cold that the temperature difference greatly affects the surrounded area and negatively affects the user or other nearby allies, but not as much as the effective range.
When cast, Absolute Zero focuses on lowering the temperature of the area and not on inflicting ice elemental damage. The registered power level of this ability is confused by the measurement system because the ability doesn't inflict specific damage, but instead lowers the target temperature area to that of a level so low, the air around instantly freezes, which can cause serious biological problems to organic targets that are not expected in an official Leray battle. If someone is hit directly by this spell, hypothermia is guaranteed! The user of this ability is also partially affected.
