Air Cannon

Air Cannon is a summon ability not learnable by humans, specific to the Aero Drake as summoned by the Whicked Whyrl spell. Air Cannon is a skill similar in its format to that of Ice Cannon, blasting a linear driven pathway of powerful collections of wind closely competed together in the air that are very powerful and cut deep through objects. From a distance, these fast projectiles may seem like the projectiles of a strong Aero Blast, but each projectile from Air Cannon does much more in combative parameters. The skill combines some of the sonic speed air from deep within the Aero Drake's own body, and consolidates them into small compact spheres that based on their compressed essence spin around with a slightly uneven angle to become sharp enough to drill through and slash through objects. The skill always creates either five or six of these spheres, from which the drake launches them all forward with the speed of a cannon in a straight non-homing line. Any human hit by this instant barrage will take significant damage on top of being pushed around by the high speed winds that follow, generating a level of interruption and pain.

Manifestation

Each 1-foot sphere of wind magic contains so much wind elemental energy that the air displacement generated around the sphere would be strong enough to cause non-homing projectiles of opposing energy to veer off course from the impact of this sphere. As with most wind elemental abilities the wind from wind magic regardless of its speed and direction has a level of visibility to it that is normally not possible, generated by a holographic draw of the magic dimension that adds some transparency to the same energy. When launched, the spheres are launched at a powerful blasting speed that is nearly unavoidable, five or six in succession while all tightly in formation of a perfectly straight line. The impact to the target will easily disrupt balance and cause interruption, on top of inflicting some wounds.
