Concept: Matter Transference

Sometimes confused with and referred to in battle as teleportation, matter transference is the process by which a short-wave aura transports the entire molecular structure of a person or target from one location to another. In effect, this ability is technically considered and is also a parent of teleportation. But matter transference has a very short-range, and is much easier on the body than long-range teleportation. All Leray wielders are allowed and encouraged to invoke these invisible micro-auras during combat, while the Siriean dome blocks exit access for this ability (meaning no wielder can warp outside of the dome shield during combat no matter what). Matter transference in combat is often associated with many spells, such as Dark Strike. Matter transference is an aura ability, meaning it uses no symbols or glyphrings to achieve this state to the wielder. It is also very difficult compared to full-range teleportation to warp to coordinates that are deemed dangerous, such as halfway inside the ground. Such an attempt would automatically be blocked by the design of the ability in question.   Because of the short-range of this ability, it is ineffective for escaping or running away from anybody. But it can be used in many interesting ways yet to be discovered.
