Currency: Credits
Defined as the only usable digital currency of Sprawn Valley, credits became part of the commerce ever since the invention of the Leray license cards and digital licenses in the early 1800's. Abbreviated as CR in context, credits are used to buy, sell, and trade everything in Sprawn Valley. Between other nations, the credits must be converted between other digital currencies before imports and exports can take shape.
Most Leray wielders use the Reward/Spoil system to legally bet their own credit amounts before an official match begins, becoming the incentive and personally set wage for the winner of that battle. Credits can also be stored in the national bank so that card holders do not have to store it all in one place, in case of accidental loss of the object.
In numeric context within Sprawn Valley's natural language, the written values of credit amounts have a slightly different rule regarding the placement of comma usage in digits containing less than five-characters. Most English users scribe numbers of four+ values with a comma after the first digit, or a comma after the second digit in a five-number value, etc. Example: $4,500 US Dollars. But in Sprawn Valley, the comma is not introduced to any values until five-digits values are written or introduced. Example: 4500 CR, 54,320 CR, 200 CR, etc. Additionally, though written this way, many Leray wielder license cards will not use the comma system at all, because it may still confuse the digital counting system at this time. Many license cards simply express full digit values without any commas no matter how large.
Negative values may also exist on license cards under billing circumstances, up to a preset maximum negative value, which is alleviated by wages or income over time.
