Dark Lite
Despite the fairly mild effects of Dark Lite, this spell actually uses low-level dark magic in order to function. Most associate dark magic with intense feelings of rage or hated, but Dark Lite is the odd exception. It uses dark magic energy even though the effects of the spell are not exactly dangerous, similarly enough to Star of Darkness.
Despite this, Dark Lite is not granted any exception. Instead, the use of Dark Lite is considered highly illegal, just as much of an offense with the real dark magic spells. Many attribute this judgment to the "unfair" effects of Dark Lite when pulled out in a Leray battle.
Dark Lite generates a dark holographic circle around the target almost instantly, the visual manifestation very similar to the Drain spell. Once activated, that person targeted suddenly has a fixed amount of 10% of their MP energy drained. This sudden drain doesn't go back to the user of the spell, but is lost for the entire duration of the battle. The issue feds and referees have with the spell is that the cost of using this spell is a fixed amount of only 1% MP energy. Though learning Dark Lite is not easy to accomplish since the initial factor warrants elevated ME levels, this spell itself adjusts to expel fixed amounts of MP by proportion (not a fixed amount of ME). Even so, spending 1% MP to remove 10% MP from the target almost instantly and without breaking a sweat can become a problem. Since the spell has no cool down time effects, it can be used over again infinitely. However, part of this amplification happens because the spell always hold on the dark magic spectrum of magic, despite causing nobody any real time damage.

Manifestation
Similar to Drainga, Dark Lite creates an invisible aura around the target, and a visible holographic circle under the feet of that target wielder. This circle is very small, allowing for the room to dodge, but the spell activates very quickly on the other hand. Once the payload activates, the user of the spell reaps no benefits. The only thing that happens is that the target loses 10% of their maximum MP energy.
