Dawn of a Sage Part 2: The Champions of Leray Magic {Story}
This is the eighth book of the Leray Series. Seat yourself for a chain of the most intense action-packed battles of the champion battle events, where Jane intends on fighting the entire League of Elites and the Leray champion himself all for the sake of doing something about the Alpha Zero problem above Lennith. Leray elites do not play around in terms of combat skill; neither will the champion.
Details: The government of Sprawn Valley is mostly compared to a free democracy, with the balance of power residing in the citizen's ability to vote for members of the mage council, who make and propose new laws. But the unifying leader of Sprawn Valley also happens to be the one who claims title of champion. The champion of Leray magic can only become such by defeating the previous champion in a national level Leray battle, and effectively installing themself as commander in chief for the General Army, Sprawn Valley's finest military. Therefore, one who shall defeat the champion will ultimately become champion in return, transferring leadership powers.
A rigorous challenge awaits those who dare try to reach the champion of magic, as all wielders who try must first defeat all four of Eldora's elite warriors without failing a single consecutive battle before rewarding the privilege to challenge the champion. The League of Elites, also known as the champions of Leray magic are what stands in the way of this mission. Jane Venn must take on this task alone, as her abilities still far outweigh that of her friends. She must face the League of Elites and Brash Danton in a series of battles. If successful, she can either convince Danton to take care of Alpha Zero for her, or install herself as champion to utilize the full force of the General Army for her own invasion.
But this is still dangerous. The League of Elites are wielders of a formidable force. If Jane loses control of her ability to hide her illegal mark, she could face capital punishment. And as it should go without saying, the champion of Leray magic will be the hardest foe Jane has faced yet. Book Number: 8/19
