Death Touch
Death Touch is a unique spell developed directly by the standing champion of Leray magic, Brash Danton. Death Touch is a spell designed and catered to staff wielders for the purpose of multi-purpose combat functionality and tactical variations. Healing spells are costly and have downsides, while magic staffs often cannot be used as physical weapons dealing a lot of damage. Death Touch bridges the gap of these issues while solving both problems, creating a powerful aura around the staff itself for 25 seconds. This aura, when blunt contact is made to another living creature then slightly drains a small amount of HP energy for each hit, depleting the target HP while rejuvenating the wielder's HP. With the spell active, all physical hits with the staff siphon HP energy from the person who is targeted, giving it to the wielder casting this unique spell. And unlike other healing abilities, this one is fairly cheap and does not have a severe cool down time limit. The spell is still very difficult to master. This is a standalone spell.

Manifestation
The thin aura going into the staff appears the same as it would with spirit elemental magical damage, suggesting spirit elemental magic involvement. However, this aura is simply similar to this by visual effect. The effects of the aura siphon HP energy from anything the staff strikes. The physical contact must be blunt and made with enough force to have an effect, and is canceled out if the staff is blocked by any physical weapon such as a sword, dagger, or gauntlet.

Discovery
Brash Danton basically invented and co-developed this Leray spell many years ago, implementing the ability into the registry of the digital matrix of the magical veil. In support of staff wielders (which are fairly rare in the arts of Leray combat), Death Touch is a tough skill that can now make any basic staff-wielder scary to face in combat, while the ability's lack of drawbacks adds to its usefulness outside of a Leray battle. The spell in question has raised popularity for the staff wielding technique/style, while improving diversity in all Leray battles nationwide, just as it has bolstered the sales of magic staffs while generating new ideas for developing projects in the spell bomb projects.

Applied Restriction
A magic staff is a requirement to use this spell. Unlike most other spells and skills that require certain weapons, staffs are not weapons that can be generated with generation glyphrings. So when an official Leray battle begins, unless weapon switching is enabled by both parties, the wielder wishing to use this spell must have already chosen a staff to be their primary weapon. Additionally, this aura can only be channeled through a staff. Usable with a crystal staff, absorber staff, or other staff weapons.
