Divine Wrath

Divine Wrath was designed to be a dark magic spell of ultimate power, something to be unstoppable and unavoidable. But in terms of the real time damage coefficient, the power level of the ability is somewhat restrained by most wielders because of the dramatic MP cost and magical circuit strain. Still a deadly spell on its own, Divine Wrath taps into the ancient sword art of entropy, spawning dozens of half-phased blades specifically forged by the sentient blacksmith golem of a lost era. These phased swords spawn slowly though the generation of numerous dark magic glyphrings, one glyphring per sword just to help conserve MP and sharpen focus during the invocation. These glyphrings all spawn high in the air in several different locations with several different angles. The glyphrings all aim to a single target or target area, but before the payload is launched, each glyphring can shift its angle of position to keep a firm aim on any moving opponents. The spell takes a long time to invoke; even the sword generation can be a bit lengthy. But a single phased sword penetrating the skin can deal a lot of real time damage, and this spell creates on average 40 phased swords per invocation. Once the spell is ready to launch, all of the sabers are blasted out from the glyphring as high speed projectiles, often at slightly different periods to prevent evasion from occurring. While one phased saber is not that powerful, a dozen of them is essentially an instant knock out to HP, followed by intense wounds created by the accumulative damage.   One must be highly understanding of swordsmanship to be capable of invoking this spell, on top of having a way to maintain the long duration focus needed to spawn all of these swords. ME levels must be very high as well, since this spell has such a high cost to magical essence in the first place. In terms of dark magic, this ability is often deadly to humans. Against summons, the damage is detrimental to their overall stats. But Divine Wrath technically can be modified to work under the format of Leray magic, removing the threat of real time damage to simulate the effects of the spell. Using this ability in a Leray magic format however will lower the power level by six points, and cost additional MP energy anyway, so it is not a popular option. Divine Wrath is designed to be used as a dark magic spell, and is most effective under that format.     Predecessor Spells: None

Manifestation

Each glyphring and sword has a similar holographic appearance and cloudy blue coloration to its design. When the phased swords are generated, they slowly slide through the center of each glyphring until fully formed, and are not launched until every single saber has been generated from the spell.
