Doom Bolt

Doom Bolt is a summon ability not learnable by humans, specific to the Phantom Drake as summoned by the Phantom Storm spell. Doom Bolt is a specific dark magic infusion ability known by the Phantom Dragon as a means of manifesting and amplifying its own dark magic energy source at the same time. By perspective, Doom Bolt is basically just like a single Dark Bolt spell, but one that is seriously amplified to inflict the largest of wounds through pure dark magic draining energy merged with the piercing properties of intense heat and radiation. The factor of real time damage is not as intense as its HP reduction factor, but just a single Doom Bolt can wipe out most wielders in one direct hit from above. Mages from the Scarlet Syndicate have been trying to figure out a way to attune this ability to humans so that they may make use of this power and blast away their enemies.

Any wielder hit by this sphere will suffer intense real time damage no matter what armor they are wearing.

Manifestation

The dragon collects all of this dark energy at the center of its open mouth as if to blast an area with fire. The charging rate is not exactly fast, so many can see the glowing collection of dark energy to this location during the invocation period. Unlike its other spells, the dragon actually makes use of a dark energy glyphring to initiate this spell, a glyphring that is large but also as dark as death. The large energy sphere that is built up glows with a powerful light, but is also surrounded by a dark shadowy shell. When the dragon releases this ability, the large sphere is launched through the center of the glyphring like a cannon, speeding downwards from above and making impact on the intended target. The sphere explodes with intense magical energy once it hits something, so to combine dark magic damage with magical explosive damage at the same time.
