Dragon Breath

Dragon Breath is a summon ability not learnable by humans, specific to Entiene as summoned by the Entiene spell, or known by Gaia. Dragon Breath is simply a magical flamethrower skill generated by Entiene's own fiery breath. Entiene inhales briefly, then sharply exhales with its mouth open wide while releasing a small portion of this energy into the direction of the enemy target. The result creates a breath of fire and intense heat in a forward direction that has a much larger radial range and directional range than a typical Flamethrower spell. For this reason, this can be more difficult to dodge than traditional attack spells. Dragon Breath is one of Entiene's most common and lowest cost attack abilities that it uses frequently, and it may register into the Action Display Center.

Side/Secondary Effects

This skill will inflict the pain associated with burns, but is very unlikley to generate first degree burns on human targets.

Manifestation

The breath of intense heat is specifically configured with assistance from the veil to retain a special kind of appearance. The wide area stream of heat blasts out of Entiene's mouth with a yellow/orange glowing coloration associated with fire and hot mist, while the area around or in this stream generates enough heat radiation to invoke visual mirages through the air. The reason this ability is said to be pure thermal energy is based on the fact that while deriving from fire elemental Leray magic, this stream of fire is actually just super-heated wind blown in a forward direction by the dragon, and thus is not combusted flames despite all appearances. That means there is less of a chance of instant combustion to any object or person affected by this stream of flaming appearance.
