Efreet

Efreet is a highly unusual summon spell that couples as a single attack ability per invocation. When the wielder invokes Efreet, a massive arm and fist made out of molten lava and other flaming elements solidifies into physical space through the summon glyphring. However, as the glyphring remains active for the entire duration of this spell, the unknown creature of Efreet behind the magic dimension never fully shows itself or reveals any other body part. This isolated lava fist either punches the target head on, or smites downward from above to crush the opponent. After just a single hit, the Efreet fist and the summon glyphring fades away, the attack spell complete.
Many summoners do not find the Efreet spell useful considering the unfavorable MP to Power Level damage ratio, though the Efreet spell can be made more useful to wielders who use an absorber staff or a summoning staff. Efreet strikes pretty quickly for trained wielders, making it one of the fastest summon/attack spell hybrids available. The fist that emerges from the glyphring is incapable of taking damage. Mages claim that mastering Efreet long enough helps ease into learning Ifrit, but the biological relationship between the creature of Efreet and Ifrit remains unknown.

Manifestation

A phased yellow summon glyphring about 3 meters in diameter forms vertically close to the ground, as the burning Efreet arm flies out through the center. The arm can sense where the enemy is with assistance from its master, and crushes the target with a forward or downward smite from the lava fist, inflicting both blunt damage and intense fire-elemental damage strong enough to inflict second degree burns.
