Energy Cycle

This ability is not an official part of the Sprawn Valley spell book archives, and is instead achieved on a personal level with varying energy experiments from its uncertain founder. Energy Cycle generates a special purple colored aura around the wielder than functions constantly on multiple altered energy frequencies all working together to convert all surrounding Leray energies into additional MP energy using microscopic chain reactions occurring within this strong aura. When activated, all physical and magical damage that is inflicted on the user is instantly converted to MP energy while charged and given to its user in a mere instant, at an effective rate of 240% conversion ratios. The aura is constantly powered from an MP circuit coming from that wielder. Most would think that running the aura therefore drains MP energy over time from that same wielder. But instead, the energy that is used to power the aura itself is partially converted into additional MP energy over a gradual period, generating more MP energy than it takes to use. This means, that the Energy Cycle aura has both a passive and active effect.
  The passive effect gradually increases natural MP recovery rate over time, generating an average of about 2% MP every few seconds. The active effect kicks in any time the user sustains any amount of damage to their HP levels, as well as kinetic force negatively affecting this user. As a result, 240% of HP damage inflicted is suddenly converted into reusable MP energy for the person with the aura. As an example, a single magic attack that takes 33% of HP away from a wielder with an active Energy Cycle aura running will cause that aura to instantly generate 79% of reusable MP energy to that wielder, making this the most effective and legal way to swiftly add MP energy in a battle without relying on items. However, the aura does nothing at all to reduce or block out the damage incurred to the wielder. That means damage must be taken in order to regenerate this MP energy in this manner.

Side/Secondary Effects

Because the wielder needs a fair amount of concentration to constantly run this aura, their ability to invoke magical based attack spells or other supporting magical spells is hindered greatly. If a wielder running Energy Cycle suddenly attempts to launch a magical spell that uses more than about 5% of their maximum MP reserves, the stress to their magical circuits will cause the Energy Cycle aura to automatically fail and shut down prematurely. Only the lowest level of magical exertion is allowed with Energy Cycle running, which can become a major disadvantage against those who know about its effects. However, physical movement and attacks has no negative impact on this aura whatsoever.

Manifestation

This thin aura always retains a solid bright purple color around the wielder, running constantly without much of any extra visual effects. As long as this aura is active, MP regeneration rates are improved, while HP damage to MP conversion remains active. This aura can be fully controlled and shut down whenever the wielder feels like doing so, and that also means there is no official time limit for the aura life span.

  Energy Cycle can also be used outside of battle just for the sake of increasing MP energy recovery. However, overusing this aura does put some natural strain on magical circuits, which can lead to a natural and mental fatigue over a long period of time.

Discovery

Claudia Stone is the woman who came up with this design of Energy Cycle, but she claims to have barrowed and merged other existing support aura spell signatures to come up with this power. Additionally, it only seems to be natively available for those with the best natural MP conservation in their passive MP regeneration.
