Fiery Tail

Fiery Tail is a summon ability, not something that can be learned or adapted for use by humans. Fiery Tail is an ability specific to the Ifrit summoning spell, and only usable in the secondary Ifrit form of a Fire Drake. In this drake form, Ifrit may often employ the skill hybrid attack known as Fiery Tail. The drake has a long and powerful winding tail. When using this skill, the drake infuses strong fire elemental magical energy into its tail, storngest at the end of the tail. The drake usually uses this skill by infusing the elements right before diving down below for a low sweeping tail swipe that ends with a high-velocity tail impact into the target, inflicting fire elemental damage and sometimes slashing damage at the same time. It can be easy for the drake to miss with this spell since coordination is a strong requirement of this skill, but the damage can be intense for a low MP cost from the summon.
