Flare Drake

The Flare Drake is a sub-spices of magical dragons that evolved to rely on the fire-elemental properties of the Leray veil. They constantly roam the world in the magical dimension, but can be called into the physical world as summons linked to a Leray wielder who has mastered the summoning spell of Massife. Flare Drakes are high in population and plentiful in the magic dimension, thus do they share a common summoning pool. However, any summoned creature that is linked to a wielder is forever tied to that wielder's spell until the time of their death.   (Pronounciation: "Mass-eef")

Basic Information

Anatomy

Flare Drakes have all the same characteristics of a normal dragon, but are reffered to as drakes due to their large difference in size and power levels of related spells. All drakes have the ability to take flight in the air. The Flare Drake is of fire-elemental magic. So despite having a fully physical body and form, the drake can create an aura of fire-elemental magic around themselves as a means of increasing offense and defense related parameters.

Ecology and Habitats

Flare Drakes are fine with most habitates, except for underwater areas.

Additional Information

Domestication

Flare Drakes are summons, which means they can be controlled through mental synch and the spell that summons one.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Drakes and other summons can communicate basic sensory details and commands between the drake and the wielder through mental synchronicity, but they may also sometimes respond to verbal commands.
