Ice Blitz

Effect
Side/Secondary Effects
Mild increase to physical reaction time to environment for the user of this spell. This means ice-elemental attacks combined using Ice Blitz may be executed with less of a chance of failure due to slightly improved reaction speeds.
Manifestation
A thin teal aura with slight white coloration blobs surrounds the wielder with a glow. This aura resembles a shaped bubble shield with high transparency, but actually provides no protection. The aura depletes automatically once several spells (or enough expended MP) are used within the fixed duration of the aura's life line of 40 seconds.

Discovery
Ice Blitz was modified to favor the speed and power level of specific elements, which implies that Blitz can be done for elements other than ice as well, incurring the theoretical ability of Aero-Blitz, Thunder-Blitz, Flare-Blitz, and Spirit-Blitz. Taylor Feer is the one who applied this logic to her own specialization, though this idea could have been developed just as easily by anybody.
Material Components
A moderate amount of water is evaporated from the body during invocation, dehydrating the user with each use. This effectively limits the amount of invocations per battle one could initiate with Ice Blitz.
