Ice Cannon

Ice Cannon improves on the design of Ice Bolts, even though its prerequisite for learning calls for some mastery of Mize. The glyphring dramatically increases the launch speed of each Ice Bolt, creating six instead of one while launching each one out successively like a cannon with a rapid fire speed. Each of these Ice Bolts has slightly altered properties regarding their hardness level before impact, but each bolt actually deals more damage this way because of the dramatic uptake in travel speed. All six bolts are set to launch out in a perfectly straight line while all tightly compact together from each other. So there is little time to dodge, and taking a direct hit will incur significant damage. However, in order to accomplish this improvement, the homing properties of all six bolts have been removed, relying instead on manual aiming.

Those hit by ice magic of this caliber can expect to suffer an elevated reduction in body temperature, strongest where the impact occurred.

Manifestation

When launched, each Ice Bolt that appears from the glyphring makes a muffled high-low pitch cannon sound that feels unnatural to the ears. Each bolt stays tightly compact together in a straight line and moves quickly through the air, so does gravity have less effect on dragging these spheres down to the ground despite the removal of their homing properties.

It takes any one of these Ice Bolts just 0.35 to travel the distance of 35 meters. By the time all six launch, the beginning arsenal of the spell will be capable of striking a target who is standing 35 meters away.
