Infinite Misconception: A World without Magic {Story}
This is the eleventh book of the Leray Series. The journey of the past and the future both continue. While Jane and her friends learn the harsh reality of life outside the veil, Danton continues to live his memories of a distant past, where the details follow the story of how be eventually became the Leray champion and how he defeated Kite in battle. If only that story ended as happily as it sounded...
Details: Ten years ago, Kite and Danton rivaled each other's power endlessly while reaching for the highest position of power one could obtain, becoming the champion of Leray magic. Kite always kept Danton on his toes, while Danton had to adapt new strategies for battle in order to match up fairly against the expert swordsman. But this was only the beginning of the end. Everyone worked together, trained together, and forged an unbeatable alliance together. Even so, it wasn't enough to prevent the misfortunes that would follow. The secrets kept by the shadow government proved to be too much...
Meanwhile in present day New York, Jane finally realizes how difficult it is to live in the outer worlds. Having to work tough jobs for money isn't any fun, not even in comparison to magic battles. The responsibility of adulthood therefore eludes Jane, just enough to spike the nerves of Danny's stern uncle. Converting credits into cash is possible, but also a difficult and potentially dangerous task that Nyar takes on alone. Until that can happen, he teaches the three of them what downsides come from using Leray magic; that it teaches wielders to avoid these types of responsibilities. His disposition towards magic however is not met without ferocious arguments. The reckless affiliation with magic the way Nyar describes it is all too real for Jane to bare, but Danny is also certain that Nyar has overlooked the potential positives of magic in the world. Sadly, it won't help anyone live in the city or pay the bills. Book Number: 11/19
