Inversion

Inversion is the upgraded version of the unofficial Return skill, utilizing the same type of telekinetic magic on a wide scale with more MP energy in order to stop and reverse the trajectory of a large wave of projectile spells, or a full-level area attack regardless of the format of this magic. More than that, Inversion takes advantage of the untracked modulations and executions of any and all spells as it works to reverse the effects. This means that it is possible to use Inversion to reverse the effects of any and all Leray spells, though in many cases is it inefficient to do against smaller scale abilities.   Inversion can control a much wider range of collective or separate magical projections while tracking and reversing the trajectory effects of that entire area attack spell. The area attack is stopped in its tracks, and then shoved to the direction of the original sender through multiple variations of telekinetic control. Additional spacial warping and dimensional shifting auras can be added to the existing Inversion aura to allow the control wave to phase through physical objects an even warp to other locations simultaneously. The Inversion spell is five times more difficult to learn than the Return skill, just as it is far more taxing to use for any wielder, which is why it is never seen used in the wild. Inversion is also designed with a wide room of MP charging/usage freedom of variance for the wielder to determine how much MP energy modulation may be needed for lower or higher levels of area attacks spells needed to be controlled on the spot.     Predecessor Spells: Return

Side/Secondary Effects

Inversion takes even more mental focus and magical concentration from the invoking wielder. The very practice of Inversion can increase mental stress and physical fatigue, which therefore makes reusing the ability in quick succession impossible.

Discovery

  Jane Venn was the first wielder displaying this ability in a useful and popular manner. However, Claudia Stone was the one who came up with the official skill of Inversion utilizing ideas of improved telekinetic magical control auras (involving higher tiers of energy) over confined collections of opposing energies. It is believed that Inversion has always been an available unofficial skill seldom practiced due to its taxing mental energy to the human mind.
