Iron Mode

Iron Mode is the summoning spell that spawns a steel golem from the magic dimension. Steel golems are uncommon magical creatures that are somewhat easier to summon than most other creatures through summoning spells, and their primary combat style hinges on a strong body of defense for the wielder calling them to action. Learning the spell Iron Mode and establishing a proper summoning aura for the first time with the exact creature is all it takes to subdue and capture a steel golem for the duration of that wielder's life. The stats of the stone golem and its power level of attack skills increases with further practice over time. The challenge is practicing this skill in the proper geographical location where Steel Golems are more likely to be roam so that the spell can spawn them into the physical world.   The elemental element of a steel golem is not entirely known. The golem itself is made entirely out of metals and tough steel, implying that the magic associated with the creature is non-elemental, and that most of its attacks and defense are physical in nature instead of magical.     Predecessor Spells: None

Manifestation

The grey summoning glyphring forms at a distance in front of the wielder, with its holographic disk in a diameter of 3 meters aimed vertically to generate the creature from the ground up. Steel golems are made out of unknown metal materials that are much stronger than iron and titanium, and enough magical essence to hold everything together for its ability to fight. Steel golems most often have the mentality of defending the connected wielder while delivering devastating physical attacks, and their hard magic resistant bodies can defend against most attack spells really well.

All Steel Golems have specific elemental weaknesses and resistances. A steel golem is most vulnerable against any blunt damage regardless of its element, and slightly resistant to other non-blunt Earth elemental spells. Steel golems are highly resistant to all wind elemental magic and spirit elemental magic. Steel golems are totally immune to physical slashing damage, water elemental magic, fire elemental magic, and electric elemental magic. This gives wielders going up against a stone golem little option for magic-based attacks.

Discovery

Steel Golems are a long part of the magical dimension, discovered in the early 1400's, while the Iron Mode spell was only generated in the 1800's. This was the eleventh summoning spell that used Leray magic to attempt control over other magic creatures. Steel Golems have been studied for only a short time, and so little is known about their existence and origins, or their very reason for their existence in the first place. The current popular claim is that steel golems used to be a race of magical guardians from another world until they completed their task, and were granted their freedom. They say that wielders who have a strong connection and understanding of steel and metal will also have a strong auric link to the steel golem that they control, through something of friendship and mutual agreement rather than cause and effect.
