Kill Zone

Kill Zone is an amplified cross between Aerial Plume and Meteor Strike, bombarding the entire field with randomized bombardment of explosive magical bolts that rain down from above. Kill Zone creates exactly 18 drop locations, all marked with 1.5 meter red holographic circles of targeting. The spell is designed to expand or contract the total range of effect depending on the size of the designated battle area. Within each red circle, a powerful magical bolt of energy will impact and explode with a kinetic and repulsive energy burst, causing non-elemental magical damage in a nearby range of this circle. However, despite how powerful this full area attack is, these red circles that appear all over the battlefield give some amount of warning and time to react to evasion. On top of these circles spawning in random locations, it is even possible to evade this attack by doing nothing should the target be lucky enough.     Predecessor Spells: Kill Wave

The wielder of this spell is fully capable of taking damage from their own attack spell.

Manifestation

The twenty meter red aerial glyphring forms high in the air space often above the Siriean dome, sending out powerful magic that will phase through the protective shield and bombard the ground below, to the range of 80% that of the entire battlefield. Small red circles form all over the floor, an exact count of 18 for most invocations, upgradable to include 22 red circles. These red circles act as designated targeting zones, the areas in which the explosive bolts of magic will impact. There is generally no way to alter the accuracy of the bolts to these red circles, though a fair amount of time is allotted between the creation of these circles and the damaging payload of the explosive magical barrage.
