Laser Rain

A short burst of tightly packed lasers smash down on the opponent from above. Despite its lightning fast effect to hit the opponent, and the problematic situation of forming from above, this attack is not technically unavoidable. Laser Rain only generates a single sudden burst of lasers than drills into the target from above over a breif period of time. Laser Storm is the upgraded form of this spell, expanding on the duration by increasing the amount of barrages used over time.

Manifestation

Laser Rain strikes quickly and relentlessly. Using an immediate expenditure of MP energy, the user of this spell generates a pocket of about 33 red lasers 9 meters high in the air right above their target. These lasers generate from the Leray magic field and shot downward at the speed of light, drilling through their opponent to cause magical piercing damage, which in effect can feel like painful burning needles through the skin. For just a split second, a faint red holographic targeting circle can be caught by the eyes right under the targeted wielder just before the lasers are finished generating. It is possible to dodge this attack by jumping or diving out of the way before this massive compacted barrage strikes, but this window is very short. During impact, these lasers generate a loud high-pitch energy dispersion noise.
