Lunar Rain

Lunar Rain is a powerful aura support spell that doesn't actually generate a visible aura linked to a specific person. When cast, Lunar Rain concentrates all of the available cosmic starlight during night time in the area, including all available moonlight, and creates a beautiful rainfall effect of holographic light. This drizzle of pure light has magical enhancing properties that affect only the user and specific teammates designated by that user. The effects gradually generate a small portion of lost MP and HP reserves over time. The secondary effect increases mental clarity and speeds up the natural reaction reflexes, giving such wielders a better chance to dodge attacks or employ more complicated physical maneuvers. This rain of light has not kinetic effect on the environment, but the restorative properties to the allies in effect makes this ability highly revered. Lunar Rain however is very difficult to master.

Manifestation

The "rain" is just thin beams and rays of cosmic light after being reflected by the invisible effects of the spell's initial phases. Once the downpour begins, holographic or phased white light comes down at a shifted angle, each beam surrounded by different and small particle effects. When this rain touches any physical matter, it splashes outward before fading away completely. But the all humans on the field, there is no dampness to this so called rain, nor is there any physical sensation that can be detected from this light show. The light rain lasts for a fair duration of time, while all affected wielders will soon feel more rejuvenated over the duration that stats are restored. Focus and mental clarity including a reduction of all mental lag is included in the effect changes. The lunar rain does not affect the opposing team. However, opposing weather changing spells can cancel this lunar rain earlier than it should end. Lunar Rain in total looks incredible, and many elite wielders try to learn the spell purely for its aesthetic effects to use in magic shows and festivals.

Applied Restriction

Just like Moonshadow, Lunar Rain requires specific weather and time conditions in order to be used in the first place. The time of day must be enough that the sunlight is unavailable. The weather conditions must have mostly clear skies, with direct line of sight to the distant moonlight. Using this ability during a new moon phase will cause the spell to fail entirely. Most wielders learn Moonglow and use it prior to invoking Lunar Rain. Moonglow enhances this lunar light better than natural conditions, so when Moonglow is used prior to this spell during a full or nearly full moon phase, Lunar Rain will also become more powerful, generating additional MP and HP points. Naturally, the continued repetitive use of this spell will also enhance the effectiveness of restoration, as well as how long this rain will last.
