Maelstrom

Maelstrom is an unknown spell to many, since this ability is native only to that of dark magic. This illegal ability works by combining the chain of dark Shadow Waves, laser barrages from Laser Storm, and a sudden burst of intense radiation similar to that of Gamma-Spur. These combined spells phase up from the ground in the range of a phased nearly invisible holographic circle that first fades in under the target's location. By combining dark magic with several intense and painful spells successively, and following up the damage with an intense upwards burst of gamma radioactive energy, real time damage is certain to be inflicted, where in some cases can this ability cause instant death on those with lower endurance levels to magic attacks.

Side/Secondary Effects

Any damage from this ability will inflict real time damage without fail. In cases where this is used agianst those with very low endurance levels such as civilans who do not regularly practice magic, death may occurr witin a single invocation.

Manifestation

After the appearance of the nearly invisible red holographic circle appearing under the target, that person is swiftly hit by two or three Shadow Waves, followed up by two to three waves of laser barrages from below, and finalized by a sudden burst of intense gamma radiation with a red glowing energy that burst up from the ground. All of the damage is infused with dark magical energy, while each spell phases up from below the ground to prevent targets from understanding where the attacks are coming from. The final burst of radiation is the most devastating part of this attack, and causes instant radiation burns to the skin of humans, up to the torso or higher if endurance levels are low. Because the total payload system takes time, it is possible to evade this ability in part or in whole by leaving the designated circle.
