Magic Elements and Damage Types: Physical Damage

Physical attacks in the Leray world simply deal ordinary HP damage, and never require the invocation or dispersion of any format of magic. However, while physical attacks can drain one's HP during an official Leray match, they are often not powerful enough to sustain any advantage, other than causing possible pain for the opponent. Physical damage in terms of combat is mostly a parent concept of battle damage versus magical battle damage. There are multiple forms of physical damage each with their own properties, such as swords that inflict physical slashing damage, arrows that inflict physical piercing damage, hammers that inflict physical blunt damage, frag grenades that inflict physical explosive damage, or unarmed combat all without the reliance on magical energy.
