Magic Elements and Damage Types: Slashing Damage

Slashing damage is more of a format for damage, as it can fall under the category of magical and non-magical (physical) slashing damage. Slashing damage simply revolves around the concept in which an attack is performed on a target that usually causes a large cut or slash of something with a sharp edge. Weapons such as swords, sabers, daggers, knives, and various spells can cause this kind of damage. Slashing attacks work effectively well for HP reduction to those who are unarmored.
Symptoms of slashing damage, other than sharp HP reduction are cuts that may form on the skin that remain until that HP damage has been healed. Slashing damage is reduced in pain intensity by the veil, but still incredibly debilitating when deep cuts are sustained.
