Magic Elements and Damage Types: Wind Elemental Magical Damage

Air/wind elemental magic is simply magical damage dealt in the form of high-speed winds, which cause damage to a target over time, and make it hard to counteract with a spell requiring great accuracy. Air elemental spells deal their damage often in the format of magical slashing damage, though usually at lower tiers and power levels for HP reduction. Their primary benefit is how easy the spells are to learn at early training, given that most do not require the use of a glyphring. Wind elemental magic is also highly effective in stopping opposing magic with electrical elemental properties.
