Massife (Mass-eef)
Massife is the name of the spell that summons the creature of the Flare Drake. Flare Drakes are one of many drakes that are native to the magical dimension, and their population pool from that area is very high, so these are common encounters for the ability. Most wielders choose to learn Massife as their first summoning spell because the ability and the Flare Drake anatomy is very common knowledge. Flare Drakes are also popular because of their multi-elemental ability pool, which lowers the chance of a battle being bottlenecked by a single person's elemental resistances through various dress spheres, or the natural defense of other summons.
Flare Drakes however still do not have a very wide pool of learnable abilities. They can learn other human invented spells with years of practice, but the process is long and difficult. Unlike a few other summons, the strength of the summoning aura and the mental connection between the wielder and the creature is very important for all elemental drakes in order to execute attacks and fight effectively. Massife might be easier to learn, but the summon's battle tactics and ordinance can be difficult for any wielder to adapt to.
The Flare Drake usually flies around in the air, but it can also sit on the ground stationary if the wielder requests. The endurance level of Flare Drakes is not very high, as its elemental vulnerabilities in total are a bit too common for concern. Battle tactics therefore are the only best defense a Flare Drake has, which relies on the intelligence and training of its shared wielder.

Manifestation
The yellow glyphring that assists the summon into physical space is very large (25 meters diameter) and forms very high up in the air to give the creature flight once the spawning is complete. The wielder concentrates on spawning the Flare Drake while the yellow glyphring forms over time becoming less transparent towards its completion. The Flare Drake from this spell is based both on a timer and an endurance level system, which means the drake can be defeated in combat through HP reduction, or by the fixed 30 minute timer going out. Other elemental drakes do not have this timer. Due to the long invocation period, it is easy to interrupt the wielder trying to summon with a strong enough attack. The Flare Drake knows a variety of common abilities, most of which have human equivalents by name with highly conservative MP costs.

Discovery
Scientific Mages discovered shortly after the invention of Leray magic, but long before the Avion Wars and erection of Eldora Tower about the magical dimension and the creatures that invisibly roam around in that area. The seven elements of Leray magic had powerful affinities to some of these creatures, and are heavily linked to each of the elemental drakes. It was later determined how common the drakes were, ordered in most common to least common. The mages discovered the rarity of population for each creature in this order: Flare Drake, Ice Drake, Spark Drake, Aero Drake, Phantom Drake, and the spirit dragon Entiene.
