Mega Bolt

Mega Bolt is the most powerful Leray magic projectile spell in the entire books. The reason for this is that the wielder when creating their glyphring must infuse and merge all of the core elements together, creating a pure bright white glyphring in front of them that will unleash a single but powerful bolt of energy. The energy in the glyphring and in the bolt is consistent with that of the rarely described light elemental magic, which is essentially all elements combined including non-elemental magic set in such a way where all elemental resistances are totally ignored. This form of light magic is so powerful that it can occasionally break or bypass the natural protection provided by the Leray veil. Despite this, the spell is considered fully legal for use, and only ever observed by the highest ranking most powerful mages given its intense ME cost.

Side/Secondary Effects

Being hit by light magic can invoke a randomized number of second effects such as second degree burns, electrical stunning, stamina drain, confusion from the use of spirit elements, or real time damage from the excessive power level alone.

Manifestation

See description above. The glyphring pulsates with a pure white glow that can be difficult to stare at. The bolt is also the same white hot glowing color and larger than most elemental bolts, as it also travels very quickly through the air. The launch from the glyphring creates a sonic boom that may affect the user.
