Molecular Boost

Molecular Boost is a unique ability that uses an amplifying glyphring designed to support another attack spell of a nearby teammate. Useful mostly in team battles, Molecular Boost creates a strong glyphring either around an existing ability in use or in front of the predicted pathway of an imminent projectile spell. When MP energy travels through the center holographic ring of this glyphring, a serious boost to power level is added, which under certain circumstances can increase the effectiveness and projectile speed of those spells. Molecular Boost glyphrings are said not to be capable of stacking, and are very difficult to use properly on aura spells from other allies. This ability is practically impossible to use on one's self for their own spell since the glyphring needs to be controlled the entire time with that wielder's concentration. The ideal use of Molecular Boost places this glyphring right in front of the path of another projectile spell or another glyphring with the intention of powering up that spell. It is theoretically possible to power up aura abilities including support auras, but the effects here have not been fully studied due to the increased difficulty of doing so. This is a standalone spell.

Manifestation

The 2.5 foot glyphring has a blended coloration of bright blue to dark purple and a lower transparency of appearance. The glyphring floats in the air spawned by the user, as the glyphring rotates on the disk by design, lining up with the predicted path of the spell. If the ability is not a single projectile spell and instead an area attack spell, this glyphring must be placed right in front of the target's glyphring if there is one. If used to boost an aura, the glyphring will merge with the aura and boost its level, which is a difficult process. Once created, the Molecular Boost glyphring will last only for 5-6 seconds before fading away.
